He was truly a great dog!! I loved his attitude, his competitiveness, and his willingness to please (at least most of the time). Bones will be missed by many. He was the epitome of what a Briard should be!

I think of Bones now and again and it always makes me smile. He was SOOOO big! I will NEVER forget showing him for you and thank you for letting me have the experience with him! Of course I will always remember seeing him for the first time in Whitehorse.

Jim says he will always think of Bones flying the Millennium Falcon off in the blue with Hans Solo....and this from a couple of cat people. Occasionally, tho, we would meet a wonderful dog, and Bones was certainly that. --- Molly and Jimmy
I will always remember him like I last saw him -- full of life and himself! --- Camille and the Aussies

Bones was one of my favorite dogs of all time, a big, lovable, happy-go-lucky lunk of good-natured mischieviousness. What brings a smile to my face even now, is the vision of Bones chasing after Zephyr, galloping through the woods in North Douglas, both in their prime of life, both with that happy, silly grin on their mugs and that mischievious glint in their eyes, kinda like they are winking at you. That kind of spirit can never be diminished…..May they both rest in peace.

Bones was such a big presence, both physically and psychically, that he leaves a huge hole. I will always remember his antics, from the day at Brush Prairie when Dottie ran him into a ring pole to get him to pay attention, to his CD-earning performance at Mount Vernon, to the wonderful newspaper picture of him and you at the Abbotsford shows. He will definitely be a hard act to follow. --- Tracy Thorleifson

He was a bigger than life dog - he was for sure. I smile now when I think of him and his big goofy wet face - coming up for a smooch. He was such a great guy. I still remember the day you brought him over as a pup and I was a little apprehensive about Bailey but somehow Bailey just knew that Bones was a Briard and that made him an OK dog! It was fun to watch him grow up and mature into such a real big character. I also know that no one who knew Bones will ever forget him and will always have a smile when they think of him and his antics and his great persona!

There are few boys that I have found such pleasure in as Bones. I will always remember him racing Iris and Angel for the water and entering like a battleship being launched! And of course there was the Board meeting director, Bones … always nudging each of us to be more generous with our betters! I suspect that he wanted a bumper sticker … “No Bones Left Behind.” --- Perry

Bones was quite a presence! The world is a less exciting place without him! --- Sue McGregor
